We are now looking for a senior automation engineer who wants to take a key role in the development and operation of our technical systems.

With us, you will work closely with production, influence technical choices, and be involved all the way – from idea to finished solution in operation.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of senior automation engineer, you will have a broad and varied responsibility, where you will:

• Develop and optimize PLC solutions: Program and further develop PLC systems for machines, pumps, and production facilities with a focus on stability, safety, and efficiency.
• Technical choices that make a difference: Be involved in the selection of components such as sensors, pumps, and operator panels to create robust and future-proof systems.
• Feasibility studies and technical investigations: Analyze existing solutions, identify areas for improvement, and drive technical feasibility studies that lead to concrete improvements.
• Support for production: Act as technical support for production operations and contribute to smooth processes and high availability in the facilities.
• Quality and regulatory compliance: Ensure that our solutions comply with applicable norms, standards, and safety requirements.
• Testing and verification: Participate in FAT and SAT to ensure that the systems meet both technical requirements and the needs of the business.

Your Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A university degree in automation or equivalent technical background.
• At least 5 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in production-related environments.
• Good experience with control systems, such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, or ABB.
• Experience in commissioning and/or electrical design is an advantage.
• A background in hydropower or nuclear power is considered a plus.
• A valid B driver's license (manual), as travel is required for the position.
